Here are
some of the points that should be avoided during the pregnancy phase.
Don’t eat too much
At the time
of pregnancy the woman takes more attention and care of the growing baby, she
tends to eat more and the people around her are also forced to eat more since
she is eating for two. No, it is not right, although what she eats gives to her
baby through blood it doesn’t mean to eat more. Eating more during pregnancy
can cause various problems like obesity, over birth weight, heart and kidney
disease for baby, complications during labour, diabetes,
blood pressure. So don’t eat too much, instead, eat
a healthy and balanced diet.
Intake
protein, vitamin, fibre, iron-rich foods, take folic acid foods which help in
the baby's growth. Split the meal into small portions and have it. Consult a dietician and get a clear pregnancy
diet plan for three trimesters to have a healthy baby.
Don’t take any self-medication
The initial
stage of pregnancy has nausea, vomiting, fainting. For these do not take any
self medications. Don’t intake any medicines which are not checked and
prescribed by the doctor. Morning sickness is most usual for all pregnant women
those who can’t tolerate can consult the doctor and get medicines. Apart from
the morning sickness in the later period of pregnancy, one might suffer from
various disorders like digestion problems, bloating, back pain these might be
common problems, and taking medicines without doctor consultation has a chance
of affecting your baby’s health.
Don’t sit for a long period
Women are working
during pregnancy till the baby's delivery. And if she is working in the IT
sector means she has sat before the computer or laptop all through the entire
day. This is not good for the baby. The heat generated by the computer directly
falls on the baby in the tummy and when you are sitting in the same position
for a long period you might surely get back pain and your baby also feels hard
to come around inside the womb. While working take enough breaks, do small
walks and drink plenty of water this might help you in preventing back pain.
Don’t strain and work
In the
initial days of pregnancy do not strain more on your work. Avoid carrying
weights in the first trimester. Do not strain and lift heavy objects this might
cause miscarriage or bleeding. So the work ou thinks it harder to do better
avoid it.

Do not travel
during the initial days of the pregnancy, it is better to avoid travelling
before 3 months of pregnancy. And after 34 weeks avoid travelling, because at
this stage any time you can expect your labour so avoid travelling by travelling
during pregnancy.
Don’t eat raw papaya or pineapple
Fully ripped
papaya is good during the pregnancy, especially in the final days of the
pregnancy, it helps to make your labour easy. Where are raw or half ripped
papaya or pineapple is not good during pregnancy, the green-skinned papaya has
latex which is a milky substance it has more enzymes which might harm your baby;
The pineapple has an enzyme called bromelain, which induces preterm labour by
enlarging the cervix. So better to avoid these two fruits during the pregnancy.
Don’t eat raw or half-cooked animal
food
Raw meat or
half-cooked meat, egg, or any animal food would have a lot of bacteria that can
harm you and your baby. These type of foods do not digest properly and leads to
diarrhoea or vomiting
Don’t intake caffeine
Drinking
coffee during pregnancy should be completely avoided. The caffeine content
affects the brain development of the baby. So avoid coffee instead you can
intake milk, health supplements.
Don’t smoke or drink alcohol
These are
some of the important things you should completely avoid during pregnancy.
